Goodbye, friend

This is the first car I've purchased. I bought it about 5 years ago in Seattle for $2000. It ran very well, was easy to park, and got great mileage. I sold it to a friend after 2 years, but have always missed it. After deteriorating to undrivable condition, it was today taken to Northwest Auto Wrecking, to meet its final destiny. This car can be credited with inspiring my love of european automobiles and ultimately influencing my perhaps deranged decision to purchase a Vanagon. It's amazing how a tiny 2-door wagon can feel so similar to a camper behemoth, but the dash, the ergonomics, the overall handling, and the transmission of the Vanagon are all very reminiscent of the Fox. I'll spill some of my 40 for this little guy.
